As Marketing Director, I was hired to rebrand the company’s image to bring them into the 21st century. I aimed to target the cool vibe the music scene often portrays. I chose to use the purple and blue logo on a dark color scheme to make it pop. The rebrand included a website, business cards, marketing materials, a new catalog, and more.

During my time there I also introduced, planned, and executed the first annual open house. The owners opted for a super hero theme and I created all the marketing, recruited all the vendors, and organized the entire event. The event included giveaways at the door for all attendees that included a branded LPD Music bag, drumsticks, guitar picks, and more. During the event, we ran a closeout sale on many items where a catalog which I produced was provided to guests. I also organized raffles of donated items from various vendors. It was a huge success and was written up in one of the industry magazines.

Towards the end of my time with the company, I designed a new trade show booth which highlighted some of the top brands the company featured. I did much of the product photography and design of all graphics.

While it unfortunately was unfinished when I left the company, by far the largest project was a rebrand and build out of a new product catalog. This over 300 page catalog was designed to be more user friendly, categorized and color coded for easier navigation. It also featured advertising opportunities for manufacturer’s who wanted the extra highlight. There is both a print and an interactive virtual version which includes clickable links in the PDF. While unfinished, I thought it important to include.
